C-Bar Andromeda

C-Bar is the bar of Hotel Andromeda on the Albert I-promenade, right beside the Casino-Kursaal, and it is open to everyone, not just hotel guests. It looks straight out over Ostend’s wide beach, with seating indoors and on a covered terrace that the hotel says is used summer and winter alike.

Inside, the mood is dark and low-lit: deep red velvet curtains, leather banquettes, table lamps and a curved bar in front of a backlit shelf of spirits, with a tall window framing the sea. The hotel describes the drinks as wine, local beers and home-made cocktails, alongside coffee and snacks. It does not publish a cocktail list or prices online, so ask at the bar what is being shaken that day.

Hours are long for a hotel bar: from 11:00 every day, until 22:00 from Sunday to Thursday and until midnight on Friday and Saturday. That makes it a sea-view coffee stop by day and a calm aperitif or nightcap spot next to the casino in the evening. Choose it for a grown-up drink with a view rather than for a party.
