Barbara Dex Christmas Concert at De Grote Post

The Belgian singer Barbara Dex brings a Christmas concert to De Grote Post, Ostend’s main cultural centre in the heart of the city. It is a warm, seasonal programme rather than a pop show: traditional and modern Christmas songs, gospel and a cappella pieces, alongside a few of her own compositions.

The concert is on Saturday 12 December 2026 at 20:00 and runs about ninety minutes. Dex performs with three musicians, and the set takes in familiar numbers such as ‘Oh Happy Day’ and ‘Amazing Grace’. Tickets are €45.

De Grote Post is on the Hendrik Serruyslaan, a few minutes’ walk from the station and the shopping streets, so it is easy to reach on foot or by tram. The songs are partly in English and partly in Dutch.
