Ostend City Guide is an independent, English-language guide to Ostend (Oostende), Belgium, run by netpeople.be. We want the guide to be helpful and fair. Please read how we source our information and photos, and how to reach us if something needs correcting.

Information

The information in the guide is compiled from publicly available sources on the internet and from details submitted by businesses and users. We take care to keep it accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that every detail — such as prices, opening hours, menus, facilities or availability — is complete, current or error-free. Always check directly with the business or organiser before you travel, visit or book.

Photos

Photographs on the guide are either sourced from the internet — for example a venue's own website or social channels, or freely licensed libraries such as Wikimedia Commons — or uploaded by business owners and users. We use them in good faith to illustrate listings and guides, and we credit the source or photographer where this is known. Copyright in each photo remains with its owner.

Corrections and takedown

If you are a rights holder, a business, or a visitor and you believe a photo or any information is used without permission, is incorrect, or should be removed, please contact us at info@ostendcityguide.com (or suggest an edit on the listing). Tell us which page and which photo or detail it concerns, and we will review it and correct or remove it promptly.

No endorsement

A listing in the guide does not imply any endorsement, partnership or affiliation unless this is clearly stated. The guide also links to external websites that we do not control and are not responsible for.

Liability

The guide is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, netpeople.be is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on the information or photos in the guide. This does not affect any rights you have that cannot be excluded under Belgian law. See also our terms of use and privacy policy.
