Hotel Bero

Hotel Bero is a four-star family hotel in Hofstraat, between the Wapenplein and the Zeedijk, a few steps from the beach and close to the Casino-Kursaal, the Visserskaai and the shopping streets. The family’s history here goes back to 1921, when a café opened across the street; the hotel has carried the Bero name since the 1970s and has grown by taking over neighbouring buildings.

Its 70 non-smoking rooms come in three types: energy-efficient Ecology rooms with a walk-in rain shower, larger Executive rooms with both a bath and a shower, and Classic rooms, including family rooms of 33 m² for up to four. Breakfast is included. Guests can use the heated indoor pool and the Ninfea wellness area, with two saunas and an infrared bench, free of charge, and there is a fitness room, a bar with a whisky lounge and a rooftop terrace with views over the city and the sea.

Bero is one of the most accessible hotels in Ostend. It holds the Flemish A-label for accessible tourism and has six wheelchair-accessible rooms, a ramp at the entrance and two large lifts. Dogs are allowed in some rooms by arrangement, and guests park at a reduced rate in a partner car park 100 m away.
