Verblijfpark Oasis is a campsite behind the dunes in Raversijde, on the western edge of Ostend right at the boundary with Middelkerke. Most of the park is made up of privately owned static caravans, but it also has pitches for tents, motorhomes and touring caravans, and it lets static caravans with two or three bedrooms from the Easter holidays until the end of September.
Pitches include electricity, water and parking for one car, and dogs are welcome for a small nightly fee. In July and August the caravans are let by the week; outside the peak season, weekend stays are possible. Showers work with tokens, and there is a washing machine and dryer on site. Children have a playground, a football pitch and a basketball court, and barbecues are allowed.
The café-brasserie on site serves waffles, pancakes, ice cream, pasta and snacks until the end of September. Domein Raversijde, with the Atlantikwall open-air museum, and the dunes and the beach are close by. Ostend airport is right next door, so expect low-flying planes now and then.
