Body Melody

Body Melody is a beauty centre with a small private wellness suite on the Groentemarkt, in the shopping streets right in the centre of Ostend. It is the place to come for something out of the ordinary: a Cleopatra bath in fresh cow’s milk from a local farmer, scattered with petals. Body Melody describes itself as the first and only beauty centre in Belgium to offer it.

If milk is a step too far, there is a herbal bath, or you can book the wellness suite, which has a jacuzzi, an infrared sauna cabin and a relaxation lounge decorated in a tropical style, with a freestanding bath set against a bamboo-forest mural. Sessions start at two hours, and snacks are freshly prepared by an in-house caterer.

The beauty side covers massages with hot or cold stones, relaxing massages, facials and spa pedicures. Its central location makes it easy to combine with a day of shopping or a walk on the promenade. Opening hours are not published, so book online or by phone.
