't Zonnehuis

‘t Zonnehuis is a friendly neighbourhood relaxation house in the Vuurtorenwijk, the residential district around the lighthouse on Ostend’s east bank. It combines three things under one roof: massages, beauty treatments and a private wellness area that you can book for yourself and your partner or friends.

The private wellness has a sauna, a steam bath, a jacuzzi, an infrared cabin, a cocoon, an outdoor shower, a plunge tub and a swim spa in a timber-fenced garden. A three-hour session for two is one of the best-value private wellness options in Ostend, and a third or fourth person can join for a small supplement.

The massage team offers a relaxing full-body massage in 60, 75 or 90 minutes, hot stone massage, foot reflexology and pregnancy massage. A duo massage can be combined with a private wellness session for a half-day treat. The salon also does facials and other beauty treatments.

A big plus for visitors is the late opening: until 22:00 on four weekdays. It is closed at weekends. The team prefers bookings by phone, and cancellations need at least 24 hours’ notice.
