Café Du Parc is the art deco café-brasserie of Hotel Du Parc, on Marie-Joséplein in the centre of Ostend, less than sixty metres from the Casino-Kursaal. The interior is the draw: dark wood panelling, green leather banquettes, glass-shaded chandeliers and a back bar lined with bottles, in a room with a long history. Since its renovation it has held a 13/20 rating in the Gault&Millau guide.
It is open every day from 7.30am to 10pm. Breakfast runs until 11am, the kitchen serves lunch from noon to 3pm and dinner from 6pm to 8.30pm, and an apéro menu of small plates is available all afternoon, from noon to 8.30pm. The autumn 2026 menu is a Belgian brasserie card: shrimp and cheese croquettes, oysters, steak tartare, vol-au-vent and sole à la Grenobloise, with a vegetarian portobello cordon bleu and a children’s menu.
There is a terrace for an aperitif on fine days; its tables cannot be reserved. Booking is recommended for lunch and dinner, and the café is closed on 25 December and from 5pm on 24 December. Hotel guests have breakfast here.
Café Du Parc took part in the 2026 edition of Ostendaise: North Sea Food Fest, the free summer food festival on the Zeeheldenplein, with its festival dish, Langoustine du Parc.
