Rooftop Oostende

Rooftop Oostende is on the top floor of the Cappuccino building at Ooststraat 22, on the corner of Kapellestraat in the middle of Ostend’s main shopping area; you reach it through the ice-cream and tea room on the ground floor. The roof terrace is covered and heated, so it is open all year, and in summer the roof opens when the weather is good. It reopened in February 2026 after a complete makeover.

By day it is largely a brunch and lunch place, but it also bills itself as a rooftop bar for an aperitif with cocktails, mocktails and bites. The 2026 menu lists a Mojito at €11.50, a Pornstar Martini, Gin Fizz and Long Island Iced Tea at €12.50 and a Frozen Daiquiri at €12.80, with spritzes at €9.90 and mocktails from €8.50. The Rooftop X-perience menu pairs a cocktail or mocktail with a tapas board and a main course for €38 per person (minimum two).

It is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (except public holidays) and opens from 11:30; the kitchen closes at 21:00, or 20:30 on Sundays. Think afternoon or early-evening drink while shopping, not a late night. Dogs are welcome.
