Savarin is a fine-dining restaurant on the Albert I-Promenade, with floor-to-ceiling windows that give every table a view of the beach and the North Sea. Annick and Thierry have run it since December 2017, and chef Jeremy Magy, who joined as sous-chef in 2019, has led the kitchen since 2022.
Seafood leads the menu, from Zeeland oysters, scallops and North Sea crab to turbot and lobster, with meat and, in autumn, game alongside. There is a lunch menu on weekdays, and the four- or five-course Savarin menu can be paired with wines or alcohol-free juices; on Saturday evening only the Savarin menu is served. Diets, allergies and pregnancy are catered for if you mention them when you book.
Come at lunch on a clear day or for dinner as the light fades over the sea. A covered terrace faces the promenade. Savarin is rated 13.5/20 by Gault&Millau (2026); book online, or by phone for groups of more than six.
