Vayamundo Oostende

Vayamundo is a large holiday hotel on the promenade in Mariakerke, the quieter western part of Ostend. It has hotel rooms for one to four people and, for families who want more space, one- and two-bedroom apartments for up to six with a kitchenette. Many guests book a meal plan: breakfast or half board is served as a buffet in two restaurants, with drinks included.

Those facilities are the reason to come: an indoor pool, a sauna and relaxation area, a big indoor play village for children and an entertainment programme in the school holidays. There are lounge bars with views of the sea, and beach cabins can be hired in summer. In the apartments, beds are not made on arrival and towels cost extra. Adapted rooms and apartments are available for guests with reduced mobility.

The Mariakerke Duinenkerkje coastal tram stop is right outside, so the centre of Ostend is a short ride away. The underground garage has EV chargers but limited space, so reserve parking in advance. The hotel holds the Green Key eco-label, and only assistance dogs are allowed.
