Apotheek Descamps

Apotheek Descamps is an independent pharmacy on the Alfons Pieterslaan, the long avenue that runs west through the city centre towards the Leopoldpark and the Petit Paris quarter. It is a modern neighbourhood pharmacy that leans into digital convenience: you can upload a prescription online and get a free text message when your medication is ready to collect, book an appointment with the pharmacist, and register for a personal pharmacist (huisapotheker) who keeps an eye on your full medication list.

Alongside prescriptions it carries the usual parapharmacy range of skincare, supplements and everyday health products, and it gives advice on how and when to take your medicines. Like every Belgian pharmacy it joins the weekend and night duty rota, with the pharmacy on duty signposted when it is closed. It is a useful stop if you are staying on the western side of the centre.
