Shopping in Centre, Ostend

Shopping in Ostend (Oostende) is concentrated in the compact town centre, where the pedestrian streets around the Wapenplein and the Kapellestraat combine Belgian and international chains with independent boutiques, chocolate makers, delicatessens and bookshops. Nearer the beach and the harbour you will find gift and souvenir shops, and a supermarket is never far away if you are staying in an apartment.
