Food and drink in Ostend (Oostende) ranges from fish stalls and brasseries by the harbour to cafés on the promenade, bakeries in the shopping streets and wine bars in the town centre. Seafood is the obvious starting point in a fishing town, but you will also find Belgian classics, international kitchens and places that cater well for vegetarians.
